Articles are the central focus of Ex Uno Plures. Over the past seventeen years, members of Promethean House have written various articles about plurality (including multiplicity and clinical Dissociative Identity Disorder), from philosophical explorations of identity to practical advice about dealing with non-plural friends, family and acquaintances. We hope that the articles are helpful for plural systems and allies alike. (We alternate the terms \u2018plurality\u2019 and \u2018multiplicity\u2019, though we prefer \u2018plural\u2019 for its umbrella nature.)<\/p>\n
We\u2019ve organised our articles into six sections:<\/p>\n
Introductory Material<\/a>\u2014basic information about multiplicity and our system.<\/p>\n Living Plural<\/a>\u2014practical advice for systems\u2019 daily life.<\/p>\n Medicalisation and Stereotyping<\/a>\u2014articles that address the medical model of multiplicity, as well as stereotypes often ascribed to systems.<\/p>\n Internal Communication and Relationships<\/a>\u2014articles about how system members relate to one another.<\/p>\n
